Why do people buy water softener and filtration systems? Essentially, they want better water than what they currently have– especially if they have hard water. Usually, they’re sick of seeing hard water stains, and they don’t like how their water causes them “more work to do.”

Plumbing Purposes

First, consider plumbing in a house. If water is softened, then there won’t be a mineral buildup in the pipes that causes clogs and damages.

Extend the Life of Your Appliances

Next, when you have softer water, your appliances will last longer and run better. This includes your dishwasher and laundry machines, as well as coffee machines, ice makers and water heaters.

Reduced Expenses

Thirdly, there are your gas and/or electric bills to think about— when your water is softened, you’re helping to prevent mineral buildup and damage, so water pressure doesn’t have to increase to push water through, and you’re not forced to run the water heater more, either; This equates to lower gas/electric bills.

Cleaner Clothes and Dishes

How about soap and detergents? They do best with soft water, producing more suds. Harder water needs twice the amount of cleaning solution to get the job done!

Better Skin and Hair

Do you take showers or baths? Having softer water will help your skin hold moisture easier and it can even help better balance your hair’s pH level. With softer water your skin and body should look and feel better than they do with harder water. As for laundry, you can expect brighter and softer clothes thanks to the use of a water softener. Soft water is even better for cleaning dishes, too– no “cloudy” glass.

Don’t waste time re-washing dishes and laundry if you have hard water– get a water softener and filtration system. Find out more by calling 1-866-341-6220 or emailing info@shellwatersystems.com.
